Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive business growth across assigned territories in India. The candidate should have strong experience in retail sales and project sales, with the ability to develop dealer networks, generate business from contractors/builders, and manage key customer relationships within the adhesives and construction chemicals industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth for adhesive and construction chemical products within the assigned territory.
- Develop and manage dealer, distributor, retailer, and channel partner network.
- Handle project sales by coordinating with builders, contractors, architects, consultants, and interior designers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and regular customer visits.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy outstanding levels.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and customer support.
- Organize product demonstrations, promotional activities, and dealer engagement programs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
- Submit regular sales reports, market feedback, and territory performance updates.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3 to 7 years of sales experience in adhesives, construction chemicals, paints, plywood, laminates, or related building material industry.
- Strong exposure to both retail and project sales channels.
- Good dealer and distributor network in assigned territory preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven professional.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
