Key Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with 3–4 years of experience to build and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications. The role focuses on developing robust RESTful APIs, managing MongoDB databases, and ensuring seamless integration with frontend systems (Angular). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions while following best coding practices and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js and Express.js
• Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs
• Manage and optimize MongoDB databases (schema design, indexing, data integrity)
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure smooth API integration (Angular-based applications)
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement scaling and optimization solutions
• Ensure application security using JWT, OAuth2, and encryption practices
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and code review

Key Requirements – Education & Certificates

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Certifications (Preferred): Node.js / Backend Development certifications, MongoDB certification (MongoDB Developer/Associate), Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP), API development or Microservices certification

Key Requirements - Experience & Skills

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js (or NestJS/Fastify)
• Solid understanding of MongoDB (schema design, queries, performance tuning)
• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs
• Working knowledge of Angular (v2+) for frontend integration
• Proficiency in Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution)
• Strong knowledge of backend security practices (JWT, OAuth2)
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
