JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as
a Financial Services Analytics Specialist. This role involves utilizing
advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from financial data,
driving informed decision-making and strategic initiatives within the
organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, statistics,
and data analytics, with a proven track record of delivering actionable
insights in the retail lending industry.

Analyze large datasets from various financial sources to identify trends,
patterns, and anomalies.

Work on predictive analytics and models to forecast customer behavior or
risk exposure.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, risk, and
operations to understand business objectives and develop analytical
solutions.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes for portfolio
management, pricing strategies, and product development.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
in a clear and concise manner.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best
practices in financial analytics to continuously improve processes and
methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics,
Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 65% in all academics.
Experience and skills:

2 to 5 years of analytics experience necessarily in retail lending/banking
domain.

Experience in Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms is a plus.

Proficiency in SQL for large-scale data processing and analysis is
mandatory.

Experience in Python/Scala is mandatory with experience in object-oriented
programming being a plus.

Expertise in any big data technologies is a plus.

Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to
translate complex data into actionable insights and the ability to
effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.

Professional certification such as CFA, FRM, or CPA is a plus.
