come to office atleast 3-4 days a month

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Software Engineer to join
our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) product engineering team. In this
role, you will contribute to building secure, scalable, and high-performing
software solutions that automate business workflows and enhance customer
experiences.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test,
deploy, and support enterprise-grade applications while following Agile
development practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about software
craftsmanship, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a
collaborative engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, production-ready software applications.
- Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with team members through pair programming, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Participate in software architecture and design sessions.
- Develop secure, reliable, and performant applications following industry best practices.
- Build and maintain deployment automation and application monitoring solutions.
- Support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Integrate open-source libraries and third-party services into enterprise applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development, deployment, and operational processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of Linux/macOS environments and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and network protocols such as HTTP and TLS.
- Experience with JSON, XML, and other data serialization formats.
- Proficiency with Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience integrating open-source tools and frameworks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Cybersecurity, or DevSecOps domains.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
- Familiarity with issue triaging and production support.
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of software security best practices.
