Position: Tableau Engineer – Platform Support & BI
Experience: 3–5 Years

Shift: Night Shift (US Eastern Time Overlap Required)

Key Responsibilities
• Support and maintain Tableau Server environments.
• Monitor extract refresh schedules and troubleshoot failed jobs.
• Manage users, permissions, and publishing activities.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Support Tableau connectivity with cloud-based data sources.
• Troubleshoot data refresh, performance, and platform-related issues.
• Coordinate with data engineering teams to resolve upstream data issues.
• Act as a frontline support contact during US business hours.
Mandatory Skills
• 3–5 years of hands-on Tableau experience.
• Strong expertise in Tableau dashboard development, data sources, extracts, and
publishing.
• Experience with Tableau Server support, permissions, schedules, and
troubleshooting.
• Good SQL knowledge and query-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in US shift hours.
Preferred Skills
• Tableau Server Administration.
• AWS fundamentals, including Redshift, S3, and Athena.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Extract performance optimization.
Nice to Have
• Tableau Cloud experience.
• MuleSoft exposure.
• Salesforce or Coupa data integration exposure.
• Client-facing support experience
