MEP Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This
role is pivotal in managing the cost estimation and billing process for
various MEP services, ensuring that projects are executed within budget and
meet defined specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough quantity estimation and take-offs for various
services/packages, including electrical, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems.

Prepare detailed QS and billing reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
with project specifications.

Analyze and interpret MEP drawings to assess cost implications and project
requirements.

Monitor and control project cost estimates, implementing value engineering
solutions when necessary.

Ensure that the right specifications are deployed on projects in line with
approved designs.

Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and cost-saving
opportunities.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MEP construction practices and
subcontracting to support efficient project execution.
Requirements:

Proven experience in quantity surveying and billing within MEP works,
particularly in electrical and HVAC sectors.

Strong expertise in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and
specifications.

Solid understanding of design engineering principles and value engineering
concepts.

Familiarity with industry-standard estimation software and tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related
field.
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in MEP construction or quantity surveying are
