Sr Software Engineer - UI

Job Summary:

Ontic is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to spearhead the development of sophisticated user interfaces and frontend systems that drive our SaaS platform. This role is ideal for seasoned engineers who excel at feature development, ownership of frontend architecture, and contributing to the team's technical direction, all while ensuring an outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of complex frontend features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features, from design to production rollout.
• Drive improvements in existing UI architecture, performance, and user experience.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with engineering standards.
• Lead code reviews and ensure consistent application of best practices across the team.
• Improve test coverage, performance, and accessibility across applications.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component-driven development.
• Experience designing and building scalable, performant web applications.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, performance optimization, and rendering behavior.
• Proficiency with modern frontend tooling and build systems.
