Assistant Manager / Manager – Human Resources & Administration

Purpose of the Role
To manage end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing plant, ensuring
effective talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management,
statutory compliance, learning & development, and HR administration
while supporting business objectives.
JOB DETAILS -

Manpower Management and end to end recruitment process.

Maintain employee records and HRMS.

Manage attendance, leave, and employee lifecycle processes.

Ensure smooth payroll inputs and coordination with the payroll team.

Manager and implement the performance appraisal process.

Identify training needs across departments and implementing the needful.

Plan engagement activities and employee welfare initiatives.

Handle employee grievances and support retention strategies.

Promote a positive workplace culture.

Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.

Track recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, training hours, and
manpower reports.

Developing necessary HR policies and SOPs and Implement the same.

Ensure consistent policy communication and adherence across departments.

Lead and coordinate all the audits, including Internal Audits, ISO
Audits, SMETA, Integrated Management System (IMS) audits, customer
audits, and certification audits.

Track audit observations, prepare corrective and preventive action
(CAPA) plans, and ensure timely closure of audit findings with full
compliance to the records and regulatory requirements.

Support management review meetings by presenting HR compliance and audit
status reports and implementing corrective measures.

Oversee day-to-day administration of the plant premises to ensure a
safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.

Manage facility administration, including office buildings, utilities,
common areas, meeting rooms, and employee amenities and develop and
monitor the administration budget allocation.

Supervise and monitor outsourced service providers for housekeeping,
security, horticulture, pest control, canteen, transport, and other
facility services.

Ensure effective administration of the employee canteen, including food
quality, hygiene, statutory compliance, and vendor performance.

Negotiate and administer annual contracts (AMCs) and service agreements
with administrative vendors and contractors.
Desired Candidate Profile
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or MSW (HR).
6–10 years of HR experience in manufacturing, preferably chemicals,
pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, or process industries.
Strong understanding of labor laws and factory HR practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in HRMS, MS Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
