PURPOSE OF ROLE
As part of the Global Supply Chain Centre of Excellence, the Global
Planner ensures efficient product flow and optimal planning performance
across the end‑to‑end supply chain. This role is designed to be applicable
to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Distribution Planning.
You will balance service, cost, and inventory, ensure accurate planning
inputs, and support seamless product availability across markets and
regions. The role requires strong analytical capability, advanced digital
skills (Power BI, Excel, AI), and deep understanding of planning systems
and MRP logic. You will collaborate closely with global, regional, and
external partners and contribute to continuous improvement and project
initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Forecasting (Demand / Supply / Distribution)

Generate, maintain, and optimize planning outputs (forecasts, supply
plans, deployment plans) depending on assigned planning area.

Analyze demand signals, supply constraints, and inventory positions to
ensure reliable planning outcomes.

Identify risks and propose mitigation actions to protect service levels
and minimize cost and inventory impact.
Product & Inventory Flow Management

Support product lifecycle activities (launches, transitions,
discontinuations).

Ensure optimal stock levels and product flow across hubs, warehouses,
and markets.

Provide visibility on availability, constraints, and recovery actions to
stakeholders.
Systems, Data & Master Data
-
Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, safety stocks, MOQ,
lot sizes, etc.).

Ensure strong master data governance and continuous improvement of data
quality.

Use advanced planning tools (Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, OMP, SAP IBP/S4HANA)
and BI platforms (Power BI, Excel, AI‑based analytics) to monitor
performance and support decisions.

Contribute to automation, system enhancements, and digitalization
initiatives.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement

Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects across Demand, Supply, and
Distribution Planning, ensuring clear scope definition, structured
execution, and timely delivery of milestones.

Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies, proactively
identifying issues and driving mitigation actions to protect service,
cost, and inventory outcomes.

Track and report key KPIs; analyze deviations and propose corrective
actions.

Champion continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies, proposing
solutions, and standardizing best practices across global planning
teams.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Partner with Regional Operations, Planning teams, Logistics, Suppliers,
and 3PL providers.

Share forward visibility on demand, supply, and inventory to enable
proactive decision‑making.

Represent Planning in cross‑functional forums and improvement
initiatives.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in FMCG, retail, or
similar international environment.

Hands-on experience in planning area: Demand, Supply or Distribution in
an international environment.

Strong working knowledge of planning systems (Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, OMP,
SAP IBP/S4HANA, or equivalent) and advanced MS Excel.

Solid understanding of master data management in a supply chain context.
-
Experience with Power BI, AI-driven analytics, and MRP/ERP systems.
-
University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related
field.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
