PURPOSE OF ROLE
|
|
|
Ensure World Class Service in Operations from the order placing to
delivery to the customers, including products availability and
distribution within Lead Market India and Scale markets associated
with them. Improve and follow up on the delivery experience.
Ensure alignment with financial KPls for Last Mile Distribution,
cost optimization and close cooperation with other departments in
the markets including Global functions to support the business.
Implement Global strategies and projects in the markets, adjusted
to the needs, in respective area. Align with markets Operations
Steer function and strategic plans and functionality.
Maintain strong relationships with markets and local commercial
functions.
Enable Oriflame Lead and Scale markets to increase sales by
supporting the commercial strategy and securing high customer
satisfaction via optimum distribution factors.
Lead the end-to-end management of third-party logistics (3PL)
warehouse operations, ensuring service excellence, inventory
accuracy, cost efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement
while supporting business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
|
|
|
Market Transportation and Distribution
|
·
Lead the Market Transport and Distribution department.
·
Develop tender processes and framework, incl. std. global
template for contracts, governing model and supplier
development. Secure and implement the right roles and
responsibilities (markets)
·
Market operational tendering, auctioning and negotiation for
Last-mile deliveries, line hauls, and shipments (road, sea, air,
multimodal) in coordination with the Global /Market Procurement
Team.
·
Transport budget and rolling estimate preparation, financial
execution control (monthly), and budget review (Global and
Local). Together with SC controlling, improve and develop cost
and performance reporting.
·
Performance management – global KPI set-up, review (monthly) and
benchmarking
·
Realize continuous improvement for the Global transport and
distribution function.
·
Drive Delivery Experience improvements, especially Track and
Trace and Notification upgrade, and courier channels
development.
·
Drive lead time reduction and improve operational transportation
transparency, performance, and communication process.
·
Work with the IT team to develop fast and seamless integration
options with 3PLs.
·
Best Practice management (efficiency, process standardization,
audits).
·
Market research, market innovation – consolidation and analysis.
·
Lead the design of the global last mile distribution network
including rationalizing and simplifying the carriers’ setup.
Align with Logistics network optimization projects.
·
Strategy and risk management development – standards, market
development, competitors, utilities, legal and market
requirements, customer demands
·
Support Global planning functions in Tactical planning
·
Support the Market Logistics team in x-functional projects and
lead selected assignments.
·
Strategic development of warehouse function.

|
National/Regional HUB/RDC Management /3PL cooperation
|
·
Manage the operational relationship with third-party logistics
(3PL) warehouse providers to ensure consistent service delivery
and alignment with business objectives.
·
Oversee day-to-day warehousing operations performed by 3PL
partners, including inbound, storage, inventory management,
order fulfillment, and outbound distribution activities.
·
Monitor and drive performance against agreed Service Level
Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and
contractual commitments.
·
Conduct regular business reviews with 3PL providers, ensuring
performance issues are addressed and corrective action plans are
implemented.
·
Act as the primary escalation point for warehouse-related
operational issues and drive timely resolution.
·
Ensure inventory accuracy through effective control processes,
cycle count programs, and physical inventory management.
·
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Transportation,
Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless
execution of warehouse operations.
·
Lead continuous improvement initiatives with 3PL partners to
enhance productivity, service levels, quality, and operational
efficiency.
·
Identify and implement warehousing cost optimization
opportunities while maintaining required service standards.
·
Review and validate 3PL operational and financial performance,
including invoicing, cost management, and budget adherence.
·
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory
requirements, quality standards, and health & safety
regulations within 3PL facilities.
·
Coordinate and support audits, compliance reviews, and
implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
·
Manage warehouse capacity planning and readiness to support
business growth, seasonal demand fluctuations, and new product
launches.
·
Being a role establishing and ensuring the execution of
operational policies, standards and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the management
of warehouse processes, inventory control, cycle counts, or
control of third-party logistics service deliverables.
·
Responsible for contract management with Third Party Logistics
provider, input on contracts/tender/negotiations with close
cooperation with procurement/legal.
·
Overall responsibility for on-time outbound and inbound to the
markets and from the suppliers
·
Being responsible for establishing a point of contact concept
for other stakeholders in terms of information about the status
of inbound and outbound deliveries.
·
Implementation of Lean program management and roll out in
all the regional
Hubs
·
Strategic development of warehouse functions
·
Lead regular follow-up on capacity analysis, risk mitigation and
Business Continuity Plans
·
Warehouse Management System and operations-related systems
management.
·
Drive continuous improvement for the National/Regional Hub
operations.
·
Financial Strategy/framework (budget, business review). Manage
operations capex process review and approval
·
Consulting & input to new product development (NPD),
particularly in the sphere of packaging optimization
·
Support the Market Logistics team in x-functional projects, lead
selected assignments on behalf of the whole Global Logistics
team

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
|

English fluency is a must, and other languages as an advantage.

Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Operations
/Warehousing/Logistics with CEX focus
·
Strong negotiation skills
·
Preferred previous experience: Supply Chain Manager, Logistics
Manager, Distribution Center Manager
·
Experience in cooperating with 3PL/4PL companies is must
·
Experience in direct selling or FMCG area or similar from an
international company
