Job Description – Accounts Executive

Location: Bhuj Plant

Role Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end plant accounting operations, vendor payments, GST & TDS compliance, inventory accounting, manufacturing MIS, and cost reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, ERP systems (D365), statutory compliance, and coordination with production, procurement, stores, and corporate finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Verify and book purchase, expense, fixed asset, and petty cash bills.
• Process vendor payments after GST verification and approval.
• Perform vendor ledger reconciliation and monitor outstanding advances.
• Analyze ageing of creditors and ensure timely settlement.

GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare GST return data and TDS workings.
• Ensure compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations.
• Support GST and Income Tax audits.
• Coordinate with corporate finance and taxation teams.

Plant Accounting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the manufacturing plant.
• Pass accounting entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Support monthly closing and annual financial statements.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation.

Inventory & Stock Accounting

• Coordinate stock verification and inventory audits.
• Reconcile inventory records with accounting books.
• Ensure compliance with internal inventory controls.

Manufacturing MIS & Costing

• Prepare monthly Manufacturing Cost MIS.
• Prepare Working Capital Management (WCM) reports.
• Assist in manufacturing cost analysis and variance reporting.
• Coordinate with production and stores for costing inputs.

Scrap & NPA Accounting

• Handle accounting and documentation for scrap and NPA sales.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with commercial and plant teams.

Candidate Profile

Qualification

• B.Com (Mandatory)
• GST/Taxation Certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of Accounts & Finance experience
• Experience in Manufacturing Industry is mandatory
