Role Summary
The Deputy Manager – Production will be responsible for managing end-to-end
faucet manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality
standards, cost optimization, and continuous process improvements. The role
requires strong technical knowledge of brass component manufacturing,
machining, finishing processes, assembly, and production planning while
leading shop-floor teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management

Manage end-to-end faucet manufacturing operations to achieve production,
quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Ensure adherence to production schedules and optimize resource utilization.

Monitor daily production activities and drive continuous improvements.
Manufacturing Process Management
-
Strong understanding of complete faucet manufacturing processes, including:
-
Brass Casting (Gravity Casting/Forging – Basic Knowledge)
-
CNC/VMC Machining (Turning, Drilling, Tapping)
-
Surface Finishing (Buffing & Polishing)
-
Chrome Plating (CP)
-
PVD Coating
-
Faucet Assembly
-
Leak Testing
-
Final Inspection & Packing
Quality & Process Control
-
Identify process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Reduce process rejections, scrap, and rework.
-
Improve material yield and production efficiency.
-
Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing SOPs.
Continuous Improvement
-
Drive Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and productivity improvement
initiatives.

Optimize manufacturing cycle time and reduce production losses.
-
Improve OEE and shop-floor productivity.
Team Leadership
-
Lead and supervise production supervisors and shop-floor operators.
-
Ensure proper manpower planning and skill development.
-
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline.
Coordination
-
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC, Purchase, and Stores
teams to ensure uninterrupted production.

Support new product development and production trials.
Qualification
-
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering,
or related discipline.
Preferred Experience
-
8–12 years in faucet or brass component manufacturing.

Experience in bathware, sanitaryware, brass fittings, or precision
manufacturing industries.

Hands-on experience in machining, plating, assembly, and production
management.
