Role Summary
The PPC Executive/Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and
monitoring production activities to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery
of products. The role involves material planning, inventory control,
production coordination, ERP management, and continuous monitoring of
production efficiency to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand
and sales forecasts.

Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution.

Coordinate with production teams to optimize machine utilization and
manpower planning.
Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Prepare Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on production schedules.

Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of raw
materials.

Monitor material shortages and initiate corrective actions.
Inventory Management

Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.

Optimize inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.

Ensure inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation.
Production Coordination

Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, stores, and logistics
teams.

Track production progress and resolve planning bottlenecks.

Support on-time order fulfillment and dispatch planning.
ERP & MIS Reporting

Maintain production planning data in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or
similar).

Prepare daily production reports, inventory reports, and planning MIS.

Generate reports for production performance and material utilization.
Continuous Improvement

Analyze production data to improve efficiency and reduce delays.

Identify planning issues and recommend process improvements.

Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
-
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering,
or related discipline.

Graduate candidates with relevant PPC experience may also be considered.
Experience
-
3–8 years of experience in Production Planning & Control within a
manufacturing environment.
