Role Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Supply Chain Planning professional
to drive production planning, inventory optimization, customer service
fulfillment, and supply chain efficiency across our manufacturing network. The
role will play a critical part in achieving OTIF targets, optimizing
inventory, improving production efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination
between Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
-
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales
forecasts, customer demand, and inventory norms.

Ensure optimum machine loading and capacity utilization across
manufacturing locations.
-
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales teams for
smooth execution of production plans.
-
Monitor production plan adherence and take corrective actions to address
deviations.
-
Align production plans with S&OP decisions and business priorities.
Inventory Management
-
Maintain optimum inventory levels for Finished Goods (FG), WIP, and Raw
Materials.
-
Monitor Days of Supply (DOS) and inventory norms across locations.
-
Drive SKU pattern maintenance and Inter Unit Transfer (IUT) planning.
-
Control FG aging and reduce Excess, Slow-Moving, and Obsolete (ESO)
inventory.

Ensure inventory accuracy through regular reviews and reconciliation.
Customer Service & OTIF Management
-
Drive achievement of OTIF (On Time In Full) targets through structured
monitoring and action planning.

Minimize shortages against customer orders.
-
Coordinate with Sales and Dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Analyze OTIF failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
S&OP & Demand Planning
-
Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
process.

Capture Voice of Customer (VOC) inputs and integrate them into planning
decisions.

Balance demand and supply through cross-functional coordination.
-
Support initiatives aimed at improving forecast accuracy.
Cost Optimization & Supply Chain Efficiency

Monitor and optimize Cost per KG across manufacturing locations.
-
Reduce unbudgeted stock movements and unnecessary inter-unit transfers.

Optimize inventory deployment across plants and warehouses.
-
Drive logistics and supply chain cost reduction initiatives.
Production Efficiency Improvement
-
Improve production continuity through effective scheduling and planning.
-
Drive reduction in die changeovers through better production sequencing.
-
Support manufacturing teams in improving operational efficiency and
resource utilization.
Continuous Improvement
-
Lead Kaizen and Small Group Activity (SGA) initiatives within the
function.
-
Drive process improvement and automation projects.
-
Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
-
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Production
Management, or related discipline.

MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Management preferred.

5–7 years of experience in:
