Sample Development Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Sample Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end sample development process across various categories. This position collaborates closely with multiple teams to ensure timely execution and exceptional quality of samples, thereby impacting the overall success of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Design, Textiles, Pattern Masters, and Production teams to facilitate the timely development and execution of samples.
• Manage the planning of fabric availability, trims, handwork, and approvals throughout the sample development process.
• Track critical paths to ensure adherence to timelines and drive first-time-right sample quality.
• Conduct regular status meetings to update stakeholders on progress and resolve any potential issues swiftly.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the sample development processes and quality standards.
• Utilize Excel for data tracking and reporting on sample development metrics and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with quality control measures and best practices throughout the sample development cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sample development or product development within the apparel industry.
• Strong garment technical knowledge, particularly in the areas of construction, fit, and fabric.
• Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with cross-functional teams.
