Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to head and supervise the
accounting and finance operations of a diversified group of companies.
The role will be responsible for ensuring real-time accounting accuracy,
strengthening financial controls, driving automation, managing treasury
and banking operations, supporting fundraising initiatives, and leading
strategic finance activities including budgeting, MIS, due diligence,
and financial structuring. The incumbent will act as the second line to
the Group Finance Head and will lead a team handling multiple entities
across the group.
Group Accounting & Financial Control
Oversee accounting operations of multiple group companies and ensure
accurate, real-time bookkeeping.
Review day-to-day accounting transactions and guide teams for
continuous improvement.
Ensure timely closure of books and preparation of monthly, quarterly
and annual financial statements.
Implement SOPs, financial controls and accounting governance.
Drive automation and process improvements.
MIS, Budgeting & Cash Flow Management
Develop monthly MIS for management review.
Lead budgeting and forecasting.
Monitor cash flows, working capital and liquidity.
Provide analytical insights on financial performance.
Treasury, Banking & Fund Raising
Manage treasury, banking, payments and forex.
Lead fund-raising initiatives and banking relationships.
Support crop finance, debt management and capital structuring.
Audit & Compliance
Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
Ensure regulatory, tax and accounting compliance.
Close audit observations within timelines.
Strategic Finance & Due Diligence
Support M&A, investments and strategic initiatives.
Lead financial due diligence and financial structuring.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple entities.
Coordinate with business heads and senior leadership.
Must-Have Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
15–20+ years post qualification experience (excluding CA firm
experience).
Experience in Service/AMC/diversified group companies.
Must have handled conglomerate finance and accounting.
Strong exposure to treasury, fund raising, due diligence and financial
structuring.
