Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Buyer to support
the procurement of raw materials for our manufacturing plants in Germany and
other international locations. The ideal candidate should have experience in
international purchasing, supplier coordination, and procurement processes,
with strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience in sourcing
plastic raw materials such as plastic granules, polymers, resins, and
related materials is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the procurement of raw materials for manufacturing plants in
Germany and other international locations.

Source and purchase plastic granules, polymers, resins, additives, and
other industrial raw materials.

Create and manage purchase orders in SAP, ensuring timely processing and
delivery.

Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material
availability.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial
agreements with global vendors.

Monitor inventory requirements and collaborate with production planning,
logistics, and warehouse teams.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and
international trade requirements.

Track supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost
optimization and process improvements.

Maintain procurement records, supplier data, and reports in SAP.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal
stakeholders.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
Engineering, or a related discipline.

2–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a
manufacturing environment.

Experience in international procurement and supplier management is
mandatory.

Exposure to procurement of plastic raw materials, plastic granules,
polymers, or similar commodities is preferred.

Hands-on experience with SAP (MM module preferred).

Understanding of import/export documentation and international procurement
processes will be an added advantage.
