Role Summary
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and business
development for Siemens Low Voltage Switchgear products in the assigned
territory. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, providing
technical support to customers, maintaining strong relationships with OEMs,
Panel Builders, Electrical Contractors, and End Users, and achieving sales
targets through effective market development.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow the Low Voltage Switchgear business within the assigned
territory.

Promote Siemens LV Switchgear products and solutions to OEMs, Panel
Builders, Electrical Contractors, Consultants, and End Users.

Identify new customers and generate business opportunities.

Manage existing customer relationships and expand business with key
accounts.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.

Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.

Coordinate with internal teams including application engineering, customer
service, and supply chain for smooth project execution.

Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and customer
demonstrations.

Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and customer visit plans.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Experience
-
2–4 years of experience in Industrial/Electrical Product Sales.

Experience in Low Voltage Switchgear or Electrical Distribution Products is
preferred.
