Role Summary
The Senior Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving
business growth by promoting Siemens Low Voltage Switchgear and Industrial
Solutions within the assigned territory. The role involves identifying new
business opportunities, developing key customer relationships, understanding
customer technical requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and
delivering sustainable revenue growth through solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth in the
assigned territory.

Identify new customers and generate business opportunities across industrial
segments.

Build a strong sales pipeline and ensure timely conversion of opportunities.
Customer Management

Manage relationships with OEMs, Panel Builders, End Users, System
Integrators, Consultants, and EPC Contractors.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.

Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution
discussions.
Sales & Revenue Generation

Prepare sales plans and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue
targets.

Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial quotations, negotiate
commercial terms, and close orders.

Drive specification and project-based sales.
Solution Selling

Promote Siemens Low Voltage Switchgear and electrical solutions.

Coordinate with application engineering, technical support, commercial, and
supply chain teams for project execution.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.

Identify emerging business opportunities and recommend growth strategies.
Reporting

Maintain CRM updates, sales forecasts, enquiry status, and MIS reports.

Ensure regular customer visits and effective territory management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
-
8–10 years of experience in Industrial/Electrical Solution Sales.

Experience in Siemens or similar electrical product portfolios is preferred.
