Chief Finance Officer

Job Summary:

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of our organization, with the primary responsibility of ensuring financial health and sustainable growth. This executive will lead a team of 15 finance professionals, driving strategies to prepare the company for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) within the next four years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the company’s accounting practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Lead negotiations and deal-making initiatives, strategically managing relationships with stakeholders, partners, and investors.
• Develop tax strategies, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial performance within legal regulations.
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define financial goals and monitor the organization’s performance against these targets.
• Continuously assess and improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of finance experience in senior roles, with proven expertise in P&L management.
• Strong understanding of taxation laws and their implications for corporate financial strategy.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience in deal-making within a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic financial planning tools.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering high-performance finance teams.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading a company through the IPO process is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance best practices.
• CA degree must have.
• Advanced certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA will be advantageous.
• A proven track record of implementing successful financial strategies in high-volume business environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks.
