Scope:
The ESG Manager – APAC will support the execution and coordination of
Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Sustainability initiatives
across the Asia Pacific region. The role is responsible for managing ESG
reporting processes, sustainability projects, environmental data collection,
compliance activities, stakeholder engagement, and regional programme
coordination to support the organization's ESG strategy and commitments.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong project management and stakeholder
management skills to ensure the effective delivery of ESG programmes and
reporting requirements across multiple markets. The role aligns closely with
regional sustainability priorities, including climate, environmental impact,
employee engagement, and community initiatives.
Responsibilities
Coordinate ESG and sustainability initiatives across APAC, ensuring timely
delivery of projects and reporting requirements. Support regional and
country teams in implementing sustainability and ESG programmes.
Manage ESG data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting across
multiple countries and business functions.
Support the preparation and submission of regional ESG reporting
requirements, disclosures, and sustainability reports. Assist in the
implementation and maintenance of ESG policies, standards, and governance
processes.
Monitor ESG regulations, reporting standards, and emerging sustainability
trends, providing practical recommendations where required.
Support environmental sustainability initiatives, including carbon emissions
reporting, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and other environmental
performance programmes. Coordinate environmental data collection and
validation activities across countries.
Maintain ESG policies, procedures, and documentation to support governance
and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, country ESG leads, external
consultants, auditors, and reporting partners to support ESG deliverables.
Assist with ESG audits, assessments, and assurance reviews by maintaining
accurate records and supporting documentation.
Support the development and delivery of ESG communication, awareness, and
training initiatives across the region.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental
Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental management,
compliance, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
and competing priorities.
Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a
regional environment.
