Technical Consultant - OFSAA Platform

Job Summary:

The Technical Consultant will play a crucial role in deploying and upgrading the OFSAA platform and its associated applications, ensuring seamless functionality during transitions. This role requires hands-on experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) and involves direct interaction with customer technical resources to maintain operational integrity throughout the upgrade process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and upgrade the OFSAA Solution from version 8.x to the latest version, coordinating closely with customer technical teams.
• Implement Oracle OFSAA applications, ensuring active participation in 1-2 end-to-end module implementations.
• Manage application deployment on WebLogic, WebSphere, or Tomcat web servers, addressing and resolving any deployment-related issues.
• Utilize Erwin Data Modeler to develop and modify changes in the OFSAA ERWIN data model in accordance with design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and rectify failures in batch runs, ensuring data processing continuity and accuracy.
• Conduct upgrades and apply patches to maintain the latest OFSAA functionalities and improvements.
• Analyze logs to resolve issues efficiently and ensure data quality checks and data loading/extraction processes are in line with best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Oracle product installation and upgrades, particularly within the OFSAA product architecture.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with the OFSAA Suite, specifically OFSAA 8.0 and above.
• Strong knowledge of Unix and PL/SQL, including query tuning and shell script writing capabilities.
• Familiarity with security configuration, data model upload processes, staging table concepts, and data quality assessments within OFSAA.
• Ability to interpret application logs to effectively resolve operational issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in technical consulting or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial reporting solutions like ERM and GL Reconciliation.
• Keen interest in staying updated with the latest trends and enhancements within the OFSAA platform.
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex deployment projects with minimal disruption to business functions.
• Certifications in Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications are highly advantageous.
