Salesforce Communications Cloud Architect
Job Summary:
The Salesforce Communications Cloud Architect plays a crucial role in
designing and implementing robust solutions tailored to B2C telecommunications
business objectives. This position influences the performance and scalability
of solutions within the Communications Cloud, directly impacting the
efficiency and effectiveness of both internal operations and customer
interactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design end-to-end solutions within the Communications Cloud, ensuring
alignment with B2C telecommunications business objectives.

Architect complex product configuration, pricing rules, and quoting flows
using Salesforce OmniStudio.

Design order capture, decomposition, and orchestration flows, managing
fallout handling and tracking.

Architect seamless data flow and APIs between Salesforce and middleware
platforms (e.g., MuleSoft) and external payment gateways.

Lead design workshops, oversee technical delivery teams, and conduct
solution/code reviews to maintain architectural integrity and scalability.

Customize the CPQ platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura,
Visualforce, and JavaScript.

Integrate CPQ with external systems (ERP, billing, inventory) via REST/SOAP
APIs.
Requirements:

Deep understanding of the telecommunications or communications service
provider (CSP) industry.

10+ years of Salesforce development/architect experience, with
strong focus on CPQ in Vlocity Managed Package or Communications Cloud on
Core and Revenue Cloud.

Expertise in Apex, LWC, Aura components, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOQL,
SOSL, and CPQ pricing engine.

In-depth
experience configuring CPQ in Vlocity: product rules, pricing rules,
discounting, approval workflows, quote templates.

Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, profiles, roles,
permission sets.

Experience integrating with external
platforms via REST and SOAP APIs.

Familiarity with declarative automation tools: Flows, Process Builder.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven success in leading multi-discipline teams through complex Salesforce
implementations.

Experience with performance optimization measures for Salesforce
applications.

Certification in Salesforce Architect or CPQ is highly desirable.

Exceptional communication skills with a talent for translating technical
