Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to drive the automation and management of our cloud infrastructure while ensuring efficient application deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development, operations, and cloud technologies, making a significant impact on our production-grade software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate and manage infrastructure deployments using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to streamline deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams for smooth and reliable application deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Continuously seek opportunities to automate processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
• Design and deliver mission-critical stacks with a focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
• Share knowledge and support less senior team members, fostering team spirit and collective growth.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of DevOps experience in delivering production-grade software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in using Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure DevOps.
• Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure as code and cloud resource management.
• Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Passion for delivering high-quality, delightful user experiences.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and incorporate solutions from the Open-Source community.
• Strong cross-discipline collaboration skills to facilitate effective communication.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems design and architecture.
