Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team in opening our newest Golden Dragon, a premier Pan Asian Cuisine restaurant in Deerfield Mall, Abu Dhabi. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will provide exceptional dining experiences, showcasing our diverse menu while contributing to our vibrant atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding service by attentively taking orders and promptly serving food and beverages to guests.
• Facilitate a welcoming dining environment by greeting customers, answering questions about the menu, and accommodating special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and managing utensils and condiments.
• Process payments efficiently, reconciling cash register and handling guest inquiries with professionalism.
• Support team members by assisting in training new staff and sharing best practices in service delivery.
• Stay informed about menu changes and promotions to effectively communicate with guests and enhance their experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-paced restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Basic mathematical skills for processing payments and managing cash.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Pan Asian cuisine or familiarity with Asian culinary practices.
• Proven track record of upselling menu items and enhancing the dining experience.
• Certifications in food handling or hospitality training.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
