SAP Master Data Governance Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance Consultant to join our team in Bangalore or Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP MDG solutions and will be responsible for driving successful implementations while ensuring global data standards are met. You will play a pivotal role in designing and building MDG solutions that enhance organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build complex MDG solutions to support business processes while ensuring compliance with global data standards.
• Conduct baseline configurations and activate relevant BC Set(s) for optimal MDG performance.
• Facilitate data modeling enhancements and UI model improvements for better user experience.
• Implement process modeling and MDG UI configurations to streamline master data management.
• Utilize ABAP, BRF+, Webdynpro, and Floor Plan Manager to customize MDG functionalities and enhance solutions.
• Lead data migration processes to and from MDG, ensuring proper validation and derivation of data.
• Collaborate with business users and functional leads to gather requirements and provide progress updates on MDG implementation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance with at least two full lifecycle implementation projects.
• Deep expertise in SAP MDG End-to-End configurations and processes.
• Proven ability to operate tactically while thinking strategically to implement technical and process solutions.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills along with strong project/process management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively through various mediums to convey vision and project updates.
• Experience with SAP MDG on S/4 HANA for Finance, Customer, Supplier, and Material master data.
• Knowledge of integration between MDG and Fiori applications, as well as CVI, key mapping, and value mapping.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in customizations and enhancements beyond standard MDG offerings, including custom model creations.
• Familiarity with enhancements related to BADI's utilized within MDG.
• Understanding of S/4 HANA migration projects and associated challenges.
• Experience with Web Services/SOA manager configuration for search, retrieve, and replicate scenarios.
