To support the DC Division by fulfilling Electrical/Mechanical construction
Quality Assurance & Control requirements across various projects,
including engineering, procurement, execution, and maintenance. This
involves overseeing and implementing quality plans, conducting inspections,
coordinating QA/QC activities, training staff, ensuring compliance with
project standards, driving continuous quality improvement, and maintaining
clear communication with stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes
throughout the project lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibility Areas
Quality Planning and Documentation:
Prepare Quality Plan, including work method statements, construction
methodologies, checklists, test plans, and associated documentation,
ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Develop a thorough understanding of project specifications, design,
equipment, installations, quality standards, and reporting
requirements.
Comply with and implement documentation requirements of the DC
division.
QA/QC Coordination and Inspection:
Manage deliverables of all L1, L2, L3 QA/QC, Testing, and CX
coordination.
Work closely with the project CX Team to close out L4/L5 CX
activities.
Conduct periodic quality inspections of construction activities during
pre-dispatch, receipt at site, installation, and other phases.
Perform onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
Record observations, non-conformances, and ensure analysis and closure
of NCRs.
Ensure snagging and de-snagging records are maintained and provide
clearance when offered by the execution team.
Team Training and Development:
Train and evaluate project QA/QC staff on all quality-related
activities specific to the project.
Participate in employee onboarding and provide continued field staff
training.
Quality Reporting and Improvement:
Prepare and send monthly Quality MIS to the Head Office, reviewed and
validated by the Project Director.
Ensure all QA/QC activities are reported through project-specific
software and internal communications.
Drive continual improvement of the quality system by implementing Root
Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Actions (CA), and Preventive Actions
(PA).
Compliance and Approval Management:
Ensure the correct sequence of activities is followed on-site and
obtain necessary approvals for any deviations.
Verify compliance with project standards and quality requirements
during all stages of the project lifecycle.
Objectives & Key Performance Indicators
Percentage of planned inspections completed on time during all
construction phases.
Average time taken to address and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Percentage of QA/QC staff trained, with post-training assessments showing
improvement in quality performance.
Percentage of monthly Quality MIS reports submitted to the Head Office on
schedule.
Percentage of project activities meeting quality and compliance standards
without deviations or delays.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
7 - 14 years of experience in the Quality domain of Engineering, Product,
Project, Processes, etc.
Well conversant with applicable, project-specific, national, and
international standards.
Sound in preparing Quality documentation, manuals, formats, etc., as
suitable.
Good knowledge of analysing NC’s, RCA, CA, PA, and associated
documentation.
Education and Certifications
Diploma/B-Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a well-recognized
institution.
Certifications in QA/QC standards or methodologies are preferred.
Specialized training in Quality Management Systems and regulatory
frameworks is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in preparing and implementing Quality Plans, including work
method statements, construction methodologies, and test plans.
Strong understanding of project specifications, design, equipment,
installations, and quality standards.
Competency in preparing and validating monthly Quality MIS reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
