SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) Consultant
SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) ConsultantKey Responsibilities
Business Support: Assist business and end users with daily SAP SD operations and front-end technologies.
Technical Development & Debugging: Perform functional debugging and troubleshooting. Develop solutions using Reports, Module Pool, SAP Scripts, Forms, ALV Reports, ALE/IDOC, Service Gateway, BADIs, BAPIs, Queries, and Object-Oriented programming.
Process Analysis: Conduct business and process analysis to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement strategies.
Integration: Manage integration with MM, FI, and external systems (EDI, IDOCs, REST APIs).
Project & Incident Management: Ensure compliance with release/change management processes; manage incidents using ServiceNow and JIRA.
Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate effectively with engineering, customer support, and cross-functional teams.
Quality Assurance: Maintain QA standards and detailed documentation; demonstrate flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
Required Skills
SAP SD Expertise: Minimum of 4 years of IT experience (S/4HANA Sales certification preferred).
Order-to-Cash (O2C): Strong knowledge of Inquiries, Quotes, Sales Orders, Returns, Consignment Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Credit/Debit Memos, Rush Orders, Cash Sales, and Back Orders.
Integration Knowledge: Good understanding of SAP MM & FI modules and external system integration.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in requirement gathering, designing solutions, SAP configuration, and writing functional specifications.
Operational Excellence: Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring, and query handling.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify issue patterns and drive continuous improvement.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experienced in testing and creating knowledge articles.
Education & Experience
Experience: Minimum 4 years of genuine IT experience in SAP SD.
Certification: SAP S/4HANA Sales certification preferred.
Domain Exposure: Experience in large-scale enterprise systems spanning SAP, middleware, and external applications.
