Senior software engineer (Serverless architecture)

Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications • Own end-to-end delivery of features and services • Build and manage microservices using Node.js and NestJS • Develop efficient and user-friendly interfaces using React.js • Create robust system designs (HLD/LLD) for scalable architectures • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems • Implement event-driven and asynchronous workflows using messaging services • Maintain high code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency Technical Skills Required Core Technologies • Strong proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, and React.js • Hands-on experience with Serverless Framework • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) System Design • Proven experience in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) • Experience building highly scalable and distributed systems Cloud & AWS Services • Hands-on experience with: o ECS, Lambda, Step Functions o SQS, SNS, SES o S3, EC2 o API Gateway o CloudWatch / CloudWatch Insights Databases & Caching • DynamoDB • MongoDB • Redis AI & Modern Development Practices • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor • Basic to intermediate understanding of: o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
