About the role: We're looking for migration engineers for a large-scale VMware-to-Nutanix AHV transformation — a multi-wave enterprise programme. This is hands-on migration work , not platform administration. You'll own waves end to end: assessment, Move execution, cutover, and post-migration validation.

What you'll do

·       Plan and execute VMware-to-Nutanix AHV migration waves using Nutanix Move

·       Run AHV cluster operations — Prism Element/Central, storage containers, VM lifecycle

·       Handle guest-side readiness: VirtIO driver injection, VMware Tools removal, Windows/Linux prep, IP retention

·       Troubleshoot post-cutover boot, network, and service issues

·       Work to defined change windows with documented runbooks and rollback plans, alongside network, backup, and application teams

Must have

• 4+ years hands-on virtualisation engineering in production environments
• Demonstrable hands-on Nutanix Move experience; wave-level migration delivery strongly preferred
• Nutanix AHV administration: Prism Element/Central, clusters, storage containers
• Working VMware vSphere/vCenter knowledge
• Guest OS conversion experience — VirtIO, VMware Tools removal, Windows and Linux server admin
• Cutover experience inside a formal change window, with rollback planning

• NCP-MCI certification
• Nutanix Flow, Files / Objects / Volumes
• Nutanix DR / Leap, Protection Domains
• Scripting — PowerShell, Python, Prism REST API, aCLI/nCLI
• Backup tooling — Veeam, Commvault
• AWS or Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) exposure
• Enterprise or regulated-environment delivery experience
