Finance Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are a dynamic B2B Travel Tech startup on a mission to revolutionize how travel agents provide exceptional travel experiences worldwide. As a Finance Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing accounting operations and ensuring compliance, all while driving innovation and growth in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the complete accounting operations, ensuring adherence to best practices and facilitating annual audits.
• Own the taxation practices of the organization, ensuring they meet industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
• Set up and maintain a global payments business, liaising with industry professionals to establish a robust legal and compliance structure.
• Lead business planning and budgeting initiatives, interfacing with investors to provide updates on fund management and business metrics.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to identify issues and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 3 to 5 finance professionals, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
• Engage in fundraising activities, ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements and effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated passion for startups and an ethical approach to work.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large datasets effectively.
• Disciplined and process-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in financial tools, especially Excel, to analyze and present financial data.
• Excellent structured problem-solving ability that translates into actionable solutions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial operations within a startup environment.
• Familiarity with audit, tax, and compliance projects will be a plus.
• Prior experience in working closely with business units to resolve financial issues.
