DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment processes, and fortifying our security practices to support our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) for fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) for automated provisioning.
• Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/self-managed).
• Set up and maintain observability solutions: logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, etc.).
• Drive infrastructure cost optimization, capacity planning, and scaling initiatives.
• Own incident response for production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and conduct RCAs and postmortems.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Security Operations.
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure acceptable) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS and scripting (Shell/Bash/Python).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of core security concepts: IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Strong incident management and on-call experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS) is a plus.
• Prior experience in fintech, travel-tech, or high-transaction-volume product companies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure, deployment, and security issues.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• A self-motivated individual capable of adapting to the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
