Job Title: Quality Engineer
(Electronics)

2. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience
• BE or Diploma (or higher), in Electronics engineering.
• Two to Six years of experience in the area of inspection and testing of
Electronics/Electrical components.
• Technology knowledge and experience of working on / operating on
Electronics & Electrical components and standards essential.
• Understanding of electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring
diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with standard electronic inspection tools and
methods.
• Experienced in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project);
Knowledge & Competencies
• Experience of testing of electronics components and assemblies required
• Should have handled and used instruments & equipment’s like
multimeter, oscilloscope, LCR meter, regulated power supply, IC tester,
magnifiers, continuity testers, and inspection checklists etc
• Should have knowledge of relevant standards used for electrical &
electronics components and assemblies required.
• Conversant with the relevant inspection procedures, instructions and
specifications issued by the concerned authorities.
• IPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification (CIS/CIT) preferred.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-2000, J-STD-001, or aerospace electronics standards
is an advantage.
• Working experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive electronics
inspection.
• Basic knowledge of functional testing and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and electronic QMS/ERP systems.
• Flexible and willing to work in Matrix organisation structure.
Soft Skills
• Capable to work in team and independently too.
• Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to
write technical reports.
• Prompt in planning, review & reporting
3. POSITION FUNCTIONS
• Inspect electronics/ electrical components and assemblies and wire
harnesses.
• Perform inspection of sensors, other components, PCBs and electronic
units as per specifications and standards including for soldering defects,
component placement, polarity, and labeling.
• Verify compliance with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and other applicable
quality standards.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections for wiring, termination,
routing, bundling, and connector torque verification. • Use tools such as
magnifiers, multimeters, continuity testers, and inspection checklists.
• Ensure ESD-safe handling and inspection processes are followed.
• Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and
corrective action implementation.
• Maintain inspection documentation, traceability logs, and defect
tracking sheets.
• Work with engineering and production to resolve quality issues and
verify rework effectiveness.
• Prepare and verify test setups, fixtures, and monitoring instruments.
• Ensure test parameters are maintained as per the test plan, and
anomalies are reported.
