Quality Engineer - ISO/EN 9712 PT/VT
Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer specializing in ISO/EN 9712 PT/VT plays a critical role
in ensuring the highest standards of quality in non-destructive testing
processes. This position will leverage your expertise in Penetration Testing
(PT) and Visual Testing (VT) to uphold and enhance our commitment to
excellence in product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough penetration testing (PT) and visual testing (VT) in
accordance with ISO/EN 9712 standards to evaluate the integrity of
materials and structures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality
assurance processes and methodologies that meet industry regulations.

Prepare and maintain detailed records of tests performed, results
obtained, and any follow-up actions required to address quality issues.

Participate in internal and external audits related to quality assurance
standards, providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance.

Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and recommend
innovative solutions to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

Provide training and support to team members on best practices in
non-destructive testing techniques and quality management.

Stay up-to-date with technological advancements in NDT methods and
industry standards to ensure the company remains at the forefront of
quality assurance.
Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in non-destructive testing (NDT)
as a Quality Engineer.

Certification in ISO/EN 9712 for Penetration Testing (PT) and Visual
Testing (VT) is mandatory.

Proven understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies,
particularly in relation to NDT.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
interpret testing results accurately.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document
findings and interact with stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of
quality and accuracy.

Proficiency in quality management software and tools relevant to the
industry.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with additional NDT techniques beyond PT and VT, such as
ultrasonic testing or radiographic testing.

Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement
methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.

Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement projects and initiatives.

Membership in professional organizations related to quality assurance or
non-destructive testing.
