Plant HR Head
Job Summary:
The Plant HR Head will play a crucial role in driving human resources strategy
in alignment with organizational goals within the sugar industry. This
position is responsible for managing industrial relations, ensuring statutory
compliance, and leading initiatives that foster a productive and harmonious
workplace.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to the plant's operational
goals and workforce needs.

Manage industrial relations by fostering effective communication and
collaboration with trade unions and employee representatives.

Oversee the adherence to statutory compliance regulations, ensuring company
policies align with legal requirements.

Handle complex employee relations issues, including grievances and disputes,
while managing legal cases related to HR matters.

Collaborate with senior management to enhance workforce planning, talent
acquisition, and employee retention strategies.

Conduct training programs to promote compliance awareness and improve
employee knowledge on industrial relations.

Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture within
the plant.
Requirements:

Minimum of 20 years of experience in HR management, with a strong emphasis
on industrial relations.

Proven track record of dealing with trade unions and understanding of
collective bargaining processes.

Exceptional knowledge of statutory compliance relevant to the sugar
industry.

Experience in handling DM, SSP, and legal cases related to HR and labor
relations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence
and negotiate effectively.

University degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related
field; a relevant postgraduate degree is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make
sound decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with HRIS systems for managing employee data and compliance
tracking.

Proven leadership skills with experience in managing HR teams in a plant
environment.
