K6 Performance Test Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled K6 Performance Test Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing performance testing solutions using K6. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of performance engineering concepts, scripting using JavaScript, API performance testing, and CI/CD integration.

Experience: 3–5 Years
Location: Pune / Remote

Duration : 6 months

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance tests using K6.
Create reusable K6 scripts using JavaScript (ES6).
Analyze application performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.
Perform API performance testing for RESTful and GraphQL services.
Configure realistic test scenarios and workloads based on business requirements.
Integrate K6 performance tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Generate and analyze performance reports and dashboards.
Monitor application performance using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, QA, and business teams to resolve performance issues.
Prepare performance test plans, test strategies, and execution reports.
Support performance tuning initiatives by providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
