Job Title: Civil Engineer – Substation Execution (132kV+)

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Full-Time)

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers with strong expertise in the execution of 132kV and above GIS/AIS Substation projects . Candidates with DEWA and/or TAQA utility project experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute civil works for 132kV+ GIS/AIS Substation projects in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Supervise construction activities including foundations, equipment foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, retaining walls, roads, and drainage works.
• Coordinate with electrical, MEP, QA/QC, planning, and client teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure work is completed as per project schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA/TAQA standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Review civil drawings, BOQs, method statements, and resolve site execution issues.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Full-Time).
• 8–10+ years of experience in civil execution of 132kV and above Substation projects.
• Hands-on experience in GIS/AIS Substation construction.
• Experience working on DEWA and/or TAQA utility projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, RCC works, structural foundations, cable trenches, and control buildings.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
