Director of Development - Spain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Development to lead our luxury residential projects in Spain. The ideal candidate will drive project success and enhance our brand's presence in the market, ensuring a seamless development process from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of luxury residential development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, and construction teams to create innovative and high-quality residential spaces.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, while implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders including local authorities, contractors, and community organizations.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the luxury residential sector.
• Oversee compliance with zoning regulations and building codes to ensure safe and sustainable development practices.
• Mentor and lead a team of professionals throughout the project lifecycle, fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development, specifically in luxury residential projects.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale development projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong understanding of the Spanish real estate market and regulatory environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and market data to drive project decisions.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sustainable building practices and green certification processes.
• Established network within the luxury residential market, including developers, architects, and contractors.
• Previous experience working in an international real estate environment or with foreign investors.
• Strong project management certifications such as PMP or similar.
