Senior AI Principal Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Principal Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-grade Data and AI platforms across our group portfolio. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will drive the design of scalable AI ecosystems, modern data platforms, and next-generation intelligent applications that enable business transformation.

This is a leadership role requiring deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI technologies, including Agentic AI, LLMs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise AI and Data architecture roadmap across multiple business entities.
• Design end-to-end architectures for enterprise data platforms, including data pipelines, data lakes, lakehouse, and warehouse environments.
• Lead the architecture and deployment of enterprise-scale AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Architect scalable MLOps platforms to automate model development, deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Establish enterprise technical standards, architecture principles, AI governance, and best practices.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern AI platforms, cloud services, data technologies, and engineering tools.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AI solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure compliance with regional data residency, privacy, and security regulations, including PDPL , GDPR , and enterprise governance policies.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate strategic AI initiatives into production-ready solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI Architects, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Software Engineering teams.
• Drive enterprise AI adoption, innovation, and continuous improvement across multiple business units.
• Oversee architecture reviews, technology selection, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and enterprise AI platform modernization initiatives.
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, security, and operational excellence across AI and data platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in AI/ML Architecture or Principal Architect leadership roles.
