Position: Senior Project Engineer – Secondary Design

Location: Chennai, India

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Secondary Design engineering deliverables for AIS/GIS Substations.
• Develop Protection & Control Schematics, SCADA, Communication, Cable Schedules, and BOM.
• Review vendor drawings and provide technical comments.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Support tender engineering and project execution activities.
• Ensure engineering quality, project timelines, and compliance with international standards.

Requirements:

• 10–14 years of experience in Secondary Design Engineering for AIS/GIS Substations.
• Strong experience in Protection & Control, SCADA, and Communication Systems.
• Experience with Protection Schematics, Cable Schedules, Interconnection Diagrams, SCADA I/O Lists, Relay Coordination, and Panel Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SEL, ABB, Siemens protection relays.
• Experience working on international utility projects (UK/North America preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• MS Office
