SAP BTP Integration Suite (BTP IS) Developer – Job Description

Role Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud and hybrid integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external systems using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite. The role involves API development, integration architecture, middleware design, and end-to-end interface support across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Build and manage APIs, OData services, REST/SOAP interfaces, and event-driven integrations.
• Develop and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce, and third-party applications.
• Implement iFlows, API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, and Integration Advisor components.
• Work with business and functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, and production support.
• Follow DevOps, CI/CD, security, and governance standards for SAP BTP development.
• Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational support documentation.

Experience

• 6 – 12 years of SAP integration experience. (Location – Chennai)
• At least 2 – 3 end-to-end SAP BTP Integration Suite implementation projects.
• Experience with cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise integrations.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT.
• SAP BTP Integration Suite certification preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA integration project experience preferred.
