Master Data Management - Senior Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Sr. Data Analyst to support our Master Data Management (MDM) Operations and BDG Legal Entity functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL and data warehousing skills, hands-on experience with financial datasets, and the ability to support reporting and operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

·        Manage day-to-day requests from users within the firm for Master Data Management Operations.

·        Work with business users to gather functional requirements, develop complex queries, and deliver reports.

·        Manage and drive data quality and integrity through checks and validations, collate data quality issues, drive remediation and Manage reconciliation processes

·        Monitor data governance SLAs, assuring required KPI levels are within established thresholds

·        Analyze and support finance-related datasets and operational processes.

·        Create requirement documents and incident summaries as needed.

·        Provide inputs and assist with process enhancement and automation activities.

·        Develop and optimize SQL-based transformations in Snowflake.

·        Support reporting and dashboards via Sigma and/or Tableau.

·        Collect and manage metadata, including Business Glossary and Data Lineage

·        Assist business in creating process workflows and optimization

·        Support ad-hoc requirements from business

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

·        Strong understanding of data management principles, data quality frameworks, and metadata management

·        Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools

·        Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, Oracle, MySQL)

·        Understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and Legal Entity structures

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure.

Technical Skills Required

·        SQL Complex queries, joins, CTEs (including recursive), window functions, performance tuning.

·        Python functional Knowledge.

·        Data Warehouse Snowflake – data loading, querying, and optimization.

·        Visualization Tools Sigma, Tableau.

·        Good to Have: Version Control: Git

Domain Knowledge

·        Understanding of finance data and business workflows

·        Familiarity with financial services data and operational processes

·        Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions

Candidate Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

·        4+ years of data quality or similar data analysis experience

·        2+ years of financial services experience
