Job Summary:
The Pre-Sales Consultant plays a critical role in driving business growth by
aligning customer needs with tailored solutions across BPM and technology
services. This role combines technical acumen, business process understanding,
and consultative selling to support the sales cycle from initial engagement to
deal closure. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on
experience in solutioning, proposal development, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecting

Understand client requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions
using BPM platforms and other technology services.

Develop
Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM)
pricing and present
Proof of Concepts (POCs)
to validate solution feasibility.

Conduct process discovery workshops and map current vs. future state
processes.

Address technical and functional concerns, ensuring alignment with business
goals.
2. Proposal Development

Lead and contribute to responses for
RFPs, RFIs, and proactive proposals
, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solution
narratives and value propositions.

Articulate ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and transformation impact in
proposals.

Regulatory Alignment:
Ensure solutions comply with NAIC guidelines, HIPAA, and other
relevant US insurance regulations/ for Europe
solvency II, GDPR, and country-specific insurance regulations.

Proposal Development:
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with customized proposals highlighting ROI,
operational efficiency, and compliance requirements specific to local market
dynamics

Client Engagement:
Conduct workshops and demos tailored to US carriers, MGAs, and TPAs

UK, EU, Middle East, and Africa.

Sales Enablement:
Provide insights on US / EMEA insurance trends, InsurTech
innovations,
digital maturity, and regulatory shifts
3. Technical & Domain Expertise

Maintain deep knowledge of Insurance tools (e.g., Appian, Pega,
Camunda), automation platforms, and integration frameworks.

Provide expert-level insights into service offerings, answering complex
queries to build trust and credibility.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging
technologies relevant to BPM and digital transformation.
4. Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement

Support sales teams with product training, sales collateral, and competitive
intelligence.

Participate in client meetings, demos, and workshops to influence
decision-making.

Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through solution options and
transformation journeys.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related
field (Master’s preferred).

15+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, BPM consulting, or solution
architecture.

Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPMN), automation, and
digital transformation.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with proposal tools, CRM systems, and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Attributes:

Certifications in BPM platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega), Six Sigma, or ITIL.
