About the Role
As a Manager within the Finance & Accounting practice at
Xceedance
, you will lead insurance accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory
compliance activities for global insurance and reinsurance clients. The role
requires deep expertise in insurance finance operations, statutory reporting,
regulatory filings, and stakeholder management across multiple jurisdictions.
Xceedance's finance and accounting practice supports insurers with accounting,
reporting, regulatory filings, IFRS 17 implementation, and finance
transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end insurance accounting and reporting processes for global
insurance clients.

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.

Review and oversee General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal
entries, accruals, and financial controls.

Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory
filings.

Support reporting under IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP, Solvency II, Lloyd's, and
other regulatory frameworks as applicable.

Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, Risk, Compliance, and
Finance stakeholders.

Review financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and
regulatory disclosures.

Lead audit engagements and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Drive process improvement, automation, standardization, and finance
transformation initiatives.

Mentor and manage a team of accounting and reporting professionals.

Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on reporting
requirements.
Required Qualifications
-
CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA / MBA / M.Com or equivalent accounting qualification.

8-15 years of experience in Insurance Accounting, Financial Reporting,
Regulatory Reporting, or Finance Operations.

Strong understanding of insurance accounting concepts including premiums,
claims, reserves, and reinsurance accounting.

Experience with IFRS 17, IFRS 9, US GAAP, Statutory Accounting, Solvency II,
or Lloyd's reporting.

Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or
equivalent.

Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.
Preferred Experience

Experience supporting global insurers, reinsurers, MGAs, brokers, or Lloyd's
market clients.

Exposure to finance transformation, reporting automation, and regulatory
compliance projects.

Experience managing offshore/onshore delivery teams and client-facing
engagements.
