PROJECT QUALITY ENGINEER for Zanini India

Role mission: Responsible for all quality matters related to project development. Define and establish together with the customer the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Function is to assure the customer Advanced Quality requirements during the product and process development process and to act as a liaison between the Customer and the Plant Quality Manager (link between customer and quality for new projects).

Responsible for Product validation

• Identifies testing requirements for the new projects/product as per the latest customer specifications (DVP&R, DAPSTER, PV Testing etc.) and prepares Validation time plan that aligns Project milestones.
• Manages Validation Plans according to the norms and test methods indicated on drawings.
• Coordinate with internal and External test labs.
• Establishes the necessary documentation according to the Customer’s procedures and requirements. (Check and update the customer portal).
• Prepare and submit the PPAP, New product approvals and PSW’s.
• Follows-up part samples presentation to Customer for color and style approval. (AAR).
• Construct and validate checking fixtures coordinating with product engineering.
• Responsible for Control plans for production and boundary samples during launch (SOP).
• Support customer visits for validations (Run@rate, phased validations, capacity runs etc.).

Responsible for Part Drawing Review

• Review drawing and communicate issues to product engineering manager and design team.
• Support product engineering during the design and manufacturing feasibility (Customer standards criteria, lessons learned etc.).
• Support Capacity studies and prevention for failure mode analysis (DFMEA & PFMEA).
• Negotiates the plans for the SPC process monitoring limiting the impact to Zanini.
• Support managing the project samples area.
• Lead trial parts review during OTOP and OTOPOL phase and keep the status update of each trial.

Responsible for part quality during project phase

• Responsible for managing the issue of transportation of Pre-series samples with corresponding labelling and packaging.
• Supports product engineers and coordinate the validation of the engineering changes.

Responsible for Customer standard review

Involvement during quote process to review customer specification and analyze the impact on the cost related to testing and purchasing component. (IPR)

Advised Professional Experience

• Experience in a similar position.
• To have a good knowledge of OEMs like Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai, Kia, MG, etc.
• Knowledge about similar products/technology (injection molding and painting) as Zanini’s is an asset.
• Deep knowledge of quality Tools (FMEA, APQP, 8D, QFD, and quality standards in the automotive industry APQP & PPAP)
